Admission Process

Admissions to RDNUMS is a process of 3 (Three) phases.

First, the interaction of parents with the authorized person and introduction to the school curriculum.

Secondly, the student goes through a preparatory test, both written and oral on certain subjects like Math, Grammar, EVS/General Studies from their previous year syllabus. Applicants are selected depending on their performance. The performance of the candidate is intimated to parents after evaluation pointing out both the candidate’s strength and weakness in the subject with scores.

Finally, approval from the office for the child’s admission to the school.

Every year, admission for the new academic session starts from the month of August with the admission process for Primary Section continuing.

Parents submit the completed admission form along with the mentioned documents:

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • Two Passport size photographs
  • Address Proof

School Academic Year:

The academic session shall commence in the month of January/February every year.

Admission Forms:

Issue of forms will be from the 1st week of August for the next batch. For specific dates, details will be put up in the school noticeboard/calendar.

          Pre-Primary (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG)

The minimum class for entry in the school is Pre-Nursery level. Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Kindergarten are given admission on first come first basis.

Age Limit: At the time of admission to Pre-Nursery, the minimum age of the child will be from 18 months onwards in the month of the school year of admission.

          Primary/Upper-Primary (Classes 1 to 8)

Class 1 is the entry point for Primary level. Admissions to these classes are restricted based on the availability of seats only.

Admission Test/Interview:

The admission test will be of the level of the annual examination of the class proceeding to which admission is sought. Subjects included are Grammar, Mathematics, and General Knowledge followed by Interview/Viva Voce.

          Secondary Level (Classes 9 and 10)

Admissions to these classes are restricted based on the availability of seats only.
